If you’re 65 years or older you will receive 10% off your tax preparation fee. Our Tax Professionals are here to answer all your questions regarding retirement, income splitting, RRSPs, RRIFs, CPP and part-time work; and

  • Claim the various non-refundable credits to which a senior is entitled.

  • Income splitting and completing a T1032 – Joint Election to Split Pension Income.

U.S Tax Return

If you are a U.S. citizen living outside of the United States, you’ll need to file with the IRS. And some non-U.S. citizens still need to file. The U.S. filing deadline is May 17th. However, if you live outside the U.S. then you have until June 15th to file but interest will accrue from May 17th if your return has a balance due. Our Tax Professionals are here to help you get the most from your return, and

  • Prepare your U.S. federal and state income tax return.

Student

If you’re a student, you can file for as little as $60.  It is important for students to file a tax return each year, even if your net income is $0.00, because your tuition credits will be recorded and carried forward to future years tax preparation, and because you maybe entitled to tax credits like the GST/HST tax credit, and Ontario Trillium Benefit tax credit (OTB).   • Transfer the unused portion of your tuition fees to a parent/grandparent, or carry it forward to claim the credits in future years. Alternatively, you’ve got the option to transfer the unused portion to your partner if you’re married or living common-law.

Bankruptcy

For tax purposes, the taxpayer’s current taxation year is deemed to come to an end on the date that bankruptcy is declared and a new one is deemed to begin. Our Tax Professionals are here to help you file your Pre-Bankruptcy, In-Bankruptcy, Post- Bankruptcy Tax return; and
